Healthcare services for Ukrainian nationals in Ireland
If you arrive in Ireland from Ukraine, you can get support from the Irish State for healthcare services.
You will also be able to apply to the HSE (Health Sevice Executive), Ireland’s public healthcare service, for a medical card. You need this card to get some healthcare services free of charge in Ireland, including medical care at our surgery from both doctors and nurses.
A two-page Medical Card Application form for Ukranian Nationals is now available for dowload: https://www2.hse.ie/services/healthcare-in-ireland/ukr-medical-card-application-form.pdf
The application can be posted or sent by email to speed up the process and our staff at the surgery will be happy to help you with this.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact our reception staff on 021 4772717 or visit our surgery in person to enquire about becoming a patient.
The National Immunisation Office have also developed resources and a webpage to support people coming from Ukraine who may require catch up or COVID-19 vaccinations. For information please visit https://bit.ly/NIOUkraine
