Making An Appointment

You can make an appointment by either calling in to the surgery or by telephoning 021 4772717.  We will try to accommodate your preferred time and date when possible.  Urgent cases will be given a priority and we hold walk-in clinics each morning at our Market Place and Haven Bay surgery sites to deal with medical needs requiring more urgent attention.  We will always try to accommodate your needs with appointment times and dates wherever possible and urgent cases will be given priority.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please advise reception at your earliest opportunity so that the appointment may be offered to another patient.
On occasion, a longer appointment time may be required and it will be necessary to bring this to the attention of the receptionist at the time of booking, for example in the case of minor surgery, or multiple family members requiring to be seen, of if you are attending for a 6 week baby check.

In the case of an emergency where the doctor decides it is appropriate to attend to a patient at home, a housecall will be arranged.  However, in general the doctor is better equipped to deal with the majority of clinical problems at the surgery.  On other occasions where a patient may be housebound or incapacitated, a housecall may be more appropriate and in this instance it is advisable to contact reception early in the morning to make these arrangements.
