We are proud to be fully participating members of the Kinsale Primary Care Team (PCT) and all of our patients have access to the services provided by this team of professionals. Kinsale PCT is a group of health and social care professionals who provide services to people living in the Kinsale area. Our doctors are members of this multidisciplinary team, which also includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, public health nurses, dieticians, speech & language therapists and home helps who are all based in the Primary Care Centre (New road, Kinsale). All professionals within the PCT work together, sharing information and skills to ensure the coordination of a wide range of patient services within the local community of Kinsale. A representative from each service, including our doctors, also meets on a fortnightly basis to discuss cases of individual patients who require the assistance of multiple services. A coordinated plan of action is then agreed and this can then be acted upon ensuring that patients have access to services without delay.
