The HSE is providing the influenza vaccine for all those aged 65 years and over and those in an at risk group, as well as an intranasal vaccine for children aged 2 years to 17 years FREE OF CHARGE.

A Covid booster vaccine for those aged 80 years and over will be available alongside the influenza vaccine. To minimise inconvenience for our patients, these vaccines will be given at the same appointment in a dedicated flu clinic.

The HSE vaccination programme will commence next week and we will be running flu vaccination clinics at Market Place Surgery as follows:

WEDNESDAY 29TH & THURSDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER

WEDNESDAY 6TH & THURSDAY 7TH OCTOBER

OVER 80s FLU CLINIC WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY 13TH OCTOBER

Details of clinics for children aged 2 year to 17 years will follow.

During this influenza season, all vaccines will be administered at either dedicated clinics or appointment times given to ensure the safety of all our patients and staff during the Covid-19 pandemic.
