Seasonal Influenza (Flu) Vaccinations

Flu Clinics will begin again from Thursday 20th September and will be held at both Market Place and Haven Bay surgeries.

Flu is a highly infectious acute respiratory illness caused by the influenza virus. It affects people of all ages. 

The vaccine is the best protection against flu for those aged 65 years and over, pregnant women, those in at risk groups and health care workers.  It is necessary to get flu vaccine every season as the viruses change every year.
